Hi Lovely Pinkies..
Hope you're all getting ready for Christmas - here at the Pink Palace we have lots of pink tinsel and glitter all around.. and of course, a pink Christmas tree with pink baubles too!
We've all made some pink Christmas cards to inspire - but first there's a sad announcement from Rizzo:
'After much thought and with a very heavy heart... I've decided it's time to close up the Pink Palace, and shut the doors at In The Pink. I started this challenge more than FIVE years ago now - and have enjoyed every minute of it as it's been my baby - I LOVE seeing each and every entry we have. I've had the help of lots of lovely Pink Ladies in this time - I couldn't have done it without their help and their passion for making all things PINK.
Unlike other challenges whose winners are chosen at random, we've actually checked out each entry and decided on the best makes that fit our criteria well.
But now, we are having less and less entries - and sometimes our winners don't even claim their prize! Times are changing and Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are taking over from blogs and challenges.. understandably so in our busy lives.
I have to say a massive THANK YOU to all of the lovely Pink Ladies that have been with me along the way - and thanks also to our generous sponsors. But the biggest thank you has to go to our wonderful entrants (particularly our regulars) and our fellow lovers of PINK!
SOOOOOO - let's go out with a BANG! Let's see LOTS and LOTS of fabulous Christmas PINK entries - just to give us a good send off. There is no sponsor for this challenge - just the knowledge that your card is being seen and appreciated by fellow pink addicts.
Now pass the PINK tissues - while I get on with showing our makes...'
So come on Pinkies.... let's see what you can make in PINK to show us your love!
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas...
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas...
Big (very sad) Hugs
