50 Shades of Pink - Perfect Pinkies!

Hello Pinkies!!

Well we can only say WOWWWWWWW  what a fabulous response we had to the launch of In The Pink!!!  And such a massive big thank you to all of you who've joined us as followers, have supported and promoted us,  and have entered in our very first challenge.......  We really couldn't believe that there are so many pink lovers that were so happy to see us appear in blogland...  and feel that we have our own little pink community already..   thank you .. thank you..... THANK YOU!! 

Now...  we come to our Perfect Pinkie choice for our '50 shades of Pink' challenge.  Well, as we were staggered that we'd had so many entries, we really did struggle with deciding (don't think either of us would make X Factor judges!!), soooooo we thought the solution was to double up the number of Perfect Pinkies just this once.... and for each of us to choose three - so we have six in total!  So without further ado.....  in no particular order, our top six are:

FIFTY SHADES OF.................. PINK!

Hi Pinkies everywhere....

We're so happy today as it's our challenge launch day!!!   We hope you are all ready with your pink pens poised (that is soooooo difficult to say...), and your pink papers at the ready.....  not to mention your pink embellies....

And our launch theme is ............  called............  drum roll............

FIFTY SHADES OF............    PINK!!!!

Now those of you who have heard of/read the book that is riding high in the charts at the moment, will understand the relevance.....  (and no, you don't have to own up if you have read it!!)....  And those of you that haven't read it, well.......  it just means that for our first challenge we would like you to use pink....  in any shade, and we're not stipulating anything else......  so it's a kind of anything goes type challenge...  Just remember, we want to see LOTS of pink on your cards...

Soooooooo  see how we said one of us is cute and girlie and one of us is elegant and classy?????  Or maybe not when you see our future creations... we could swap and confuse you!!

The challenge will be open for two weeks from today - with three winners chosen at the end of that time - who will all receive our 'Perfect Pinkie' badge!!  Each month, we'll choose one person who we'll invite to be our guest designer for the next two challenges.....  does that sound good or what?????

We're now on Facebook too......  and we'd love you to join in our page..... if you go to our sidebar, you can get straight to our page...  and click like (if you do that is!!)...  We also have a members group...  where you'll have the ability to upload your cards.....  all you need to do is let us know if you want to join, and we'll send the invitation....  (at least we think that's how it works!!)

The countdown has begun......

Hi Pinkyliscious lovers... Only two more sleeps to go until the big day!!!! We're getting the pink carpet out, the pink champagne, and our best pink frocks on ready for the special day.... and we can't wait!! We're not giving any clues yet as to what the first challenge is going to be.... but rest assured pinkies... you'll love it!! Sooo looking forward to Thursday! Big hugs to all the pinkie fans.. A little sneak peak......

Hi Pink Lovers!!

Well, a whole week has gone by since we announced that this fabulous new blog is going to be launched on 9 August!!  We've both been very busy working on our first challenge.... getting it all ready, getting the theme organised and most importantly, getting ready to look at all the fabulous entries we're going to have if the wonderful comments have been anything to go by!!

It really has been wonderful to see that there are so many pink lovers out there in blog land....  would you believe, we had over 100 followers in the first 24 hours?????????  What a fantastic response!!!!  Thank you all so much - we can't wait till next week...

We thought we'd just whet your appetite slightly by posting little peaks of our cards for the first theme..  we're not telling you what the theme IS till next Thursday..... but  can promise you it's going to be a good one!

I think you can tell from the little snippets of the cards, one of us is going to be sophisticated and elegant and the other is going to be cute and girly!!  We're not letting on which is which yet...

So, only seven more sleeps to go till the launch - hope you've got your pink pens at the ready!

HELLO AND WELCOME to all you lovers of PINK

Firstly, thank you for coming over to join in our fabulous new pink and perfect challenge blog!

The aim of this exciting new challenge blog is to promote the use of our favourite colour - pink, in all it's fabulous shades and in as many ways as possible.  Everyone loves a little bit of pink..  don't they?   The launch date is set for August 9, so pop that date in your diaries and join in the fun!

We will be having lots of exciting themes and Pretty Patricia and myself (Posh Priscilla (!!)) - (don't know who thought of those names... LOL), will choose 3 winners per challenge who will each receive a PERFECT PINKIE badge.  At the end of each month, we will be choosing from those winners and offering a Guest Designer position for the following month.

How to join in?  PLEASE become a follower of our blog..... so you will see the countdown to our launch... then help us spread the word by grabbing our banner (above) and mentioning us in a blog post, and also grabbing our button (below) for your sidebar.  We'd love you to link them up so people can find our challenge blog easily.  We're relying on you to spread the pink word far and wide..... Let's see how many followers we can have in the next few weeks..... it'll be so exciting!

Then, on August 9, we'll announce our theme for the very first In The Pink challenge.........  and we can't wait to see your creations!  Your cards MUST contain lots of pink......  that's going to be the main ask!!
