Challenge #4 - Embossing (Dry or Heat)

Hi Pinkies

It's time for a new fun pink challenge at In The Pink......  this time we would like to see you use embossing on your creation....  either dry embossing, or with embossing powder!!  Hope we're not asking too much and that you'll all rise to the challenge!!  Take a look below at what we've come up with...

And now we'd like to introduce our fabuolous Guest Designer for the next two challenges.... "I live on the North East coast of England with my hubby and our two gorgeous kids. I work full time at the local Hospital, and with what spare time I have I make cards. I like how you can get lost when you're colouring, which is what I like best, but when a card comes together better than imagined, well that's one of the reasons why I make cards. I think you'll agree we have all come up with some very different types of embossing on our cards, and also very different styles....  please do pop over to our own blogs to find more details.

Then.....  dig out your pink and get embossing!!  Remember - you could be joining us as our next Guest Designer!!

All we need to see is some kind of embossing on your entries....  either using an embossing folder, or manually embossing..... or for the brave, some embossing powders used with heat!!  The choice is yours.

Challenge #3 Anything But Square - Perfect Pinkies!

Challenge #3 - PINK and Anything But Square

Our challenge this time is 'Anything but Square'.  We thought we could have lots of fun with this one, as it doesn't just have to be a card...  it can be anything..... as long as your creation contains LOTS OF pink - that's our number one rule!

Challenge #2 - Things with Wings..

Hi Pinkies

This time our challenge is 'Things with Wings'.... so that covers a whole host of things......  the most obvious to us pink lovers being fairies (of course!).....   but then we have butterflies, birds, dragonflies....  the list goes on and on!!  We were so thrilled to see all the fabulous and different shades of pink you used in our '50 shades' challenge... so no doubt we'll get lots of different takes on this one too!

Again, we've used different shades and types of pink and different styles - now we'd love to see your 'winged' creations!!

This time around we're going to choose a top four.... as we found it too difficult to just pick three on the last challenge..  Oooh and don't forget, we're then going to choose our Guest Designer for the next month!

Don't forget to follow the guidelines at the top of the blog....  they're quite important to us.   We noted that just a few cards on our first challenge were entered into lots and lots of others.... our maximum is five other challenges... and we'd hate to have to nag!! LOL!!

So get out your pink pens and pink papers again....  we can't wait to see your entries this time.  We had 150 cards entered in our first challenge (check here to see if you were chosen as a Perfect Pinkie).........  and reached 210 followers - can you believe it??!!  That's got to be some kind of record.......  but........ we'd love to beat it!!!  So spread the pink word girls.......

50 Shades of Pink - Perfect Pinkies!

Hello Pinkies!!

Well we can only say WOWWWWWWW  what a fabulous response we had to the launch of In The Pink!!!  And such a massive big thank you to all of you who've joined us as followers, have supported and promoted us,  and have entered in our very first challenge.......  We really couldn't believe that there are so many pink lovers that were so happy to see us appear in blogland...  and feel that we have our own little pink community already..   thank you .. thank you..... THANK YOU!! 

Now...  we come to our Perfect Pinkie choice for our '50 shades of Pink' challenge.  Well, as we were staggered that we'd had so many entries, we really did struggle with deciding (don't think either of us would make X Factor judges!!), soooooo we thought the solution was to double up the number of Perfect Pinkies just this once.... and for each of us to choose three - so we have six in total!  So without further ado.....  in no particular order, our top six are:
