Challenge #5 Pink Plus One - Perfect Pinkies

Hi Pinkies everywhere...

Well..... what a difficult time you gave us on our Pink Plus One challenge....  It was so very difficult to make up our minds as we had so many fabulous entries!  A BIG THANK YOU to all our wonderful entrants.... you really all deserve an award for making our challenge blog a happy pink place to be!

We both have lists of people that we'd like to have chosen, but had to whittle it down to our four Perfect Pinkies.  So.... without further ado.... here are our choices:

This time the challenge is...PINK PLUS ONE!!

Hi Pinkies

Today our challenge is as the title shows.... 'Pink Plus One' - and we would like you to use plenty of Pink (as always).......  PLUS one other colour of your choice!

Now I have to admit that both Sylvia and I scratched our heads over this one.....  so we've decided to relax the rules slightly and allow neutral shades such as white, cream or kraft for the base card.....  and also for shading around an image.   And yes.... we'd also call skin tones relatively neutral too!!

We've tried to come up with very different types and styles....  but it has been quite difficult to stick to just Pink Plus One......  so don't forget, although we're relaxing slightly on this one......  we'd still like you to try to stick to the guidelines above.  Sadly, we've been receiving entries in previous challenges that haven't adhered to our guidelines... and as our Pinkies know, we're ALL ABOUT PINK here at Pink Palace.....  so the more pink you can use, the better!!  The MAJORITY of your card should be PINK -  plus ONE other colour this time.  Now that's the serious bit over - let's make it fun!!

We'd like to say a massive thank you to Becky for being our Guest Designer for the past two challenges - her creations are absolutely stunning.....  and her water colouring is just perfect.  Please pop over to her blog HERE to see more of her fantastic work.

Midway reminder..

Hi Pinkies...

Just a quick reminder that there's only 6 more days to go to enter your embossed cards into the current Pink challenge....  It closes late Wednesday night next week when Sylvia and I pick our Perfect Pinkies!! (tongue twister or what? LOL!)

So come on......  get embossing.....  in any way you'd like - we can't wait to see more fabulous embossing.... we've had some stunners so far....  but I'm sure there are some Pinkies hiding out there.......  so get yourselves at your craft space and get pink creating!! hehe

Challenge #4 - Embossing (Dry or Heat)

It's time for a new fun pink challenge at In The Pink......  this time we would like to see you use embossing on your creation....  either dry embossing, or with embossing powder!!  Hope we're not asking too much and that you'll all rise to the challenge!!  Take a look below at what we've come up with...

"I live on the North East coast of England with my hubby and our two gorgeous kids. I work full time at the local Hospital, and with what spare time I have I make cards. I like how you can get lost when you're colouring, which is what I like best, but when a card comes together better than imagined, well that's one of the reasons why I make cards. I think you'll agree we have all come up with some very different types of embossing on our cards, and also very different styles....  please do pop over to our own blogs to find more details.

Then.....  dig out your pink and get embossing!!  Remember - you could be joining us as our next Guest Designer!!

All we need to see is some kind of embossing on your entries....  either using an embossing folder, or manually embossing..... or for the brave, some embossing powders used with heat!!  The choice is yours.
