After receiving absolutely STUNNING entries for our Bling It Up challenge......  we've had to come up with some Perfect Pinkies....  (you do make the choosing bit SO hard!)

Challenge #28 - BLING IT UP!!

Hi Pinkies...

We're back today with a brand new challenge for you....  and and the theme this time is

'BLING IT UP'

So we'd love to see your PINK creations - this time using lots of BLING and SPARKLE...... in fact anything that shines and is sparkly (like gems and glitter) we'll be happy with.... and don't forget to use MORE PINK THAN ANY OTHER COLOUR... (excluding white of course) - just not lots of bright colours other than pink please. This sounds like we're really being picky....  we're trying not to be - but it's surprising the amount of entries that we get that can't be considered as it seems our requirements haven't been looked at. And here at the Pink Palace - we hate to see such fabulous cards left out of the Perfect Pinkie choice!  It makes us so sad...

And we have a nice little surprise for you this time..... Lili of the Valley have kindly given us a little bit of candy for this challenge post...  and we have a lovely stamp of theirs to give to one of the Perfect Pinkies chosen.  We'll put all five Bling PP's into a hat and pull out one lucky winner to receive this gorgeous stamp - which is the same image as our lovely Lis has used today... so that's a good enough reason to get you reaching for your pink pens and papers - isn't it?? (OK.... as IF you needed a reason!!)

Don't forget.... we want to see LOTS OF PINK AND BLING  (more pink than any other colour with the exception of white which you can use lots of) for your entry to qualify for our prize draw..

And now a very sad announcement...  our lovely teamie Karen has decided to step down from our Design Team..  she is a very busy lady and has decided that she needed to reduce some of the pressure in her card-making life which we can totally understand. We are so sorry to see her go - but thank her so much for the lovely creations she's produced for In The Pink..  and we look forward to seeing her soon in blogland!

But we also have some reasons to celebrate..  our lovely Pink Lady Christine C is fast preparing for her gorgeous daughter's wedding in a couple of weeks...  we can't wait to see the photos Christine!  And our lovely Nikki's daughter has just had a new baby boy earlier this week!!! We wish mother and baby well and again - look forward to seeing some pics!

NOTE:  Due to holidays and all the other hectic happenings, this challenge will be different than normal as it will run for FOUR WEEKS - so that gives you plenty of time to make something fabulous and get it entered.... don't forget, you can always enter more than once if you'd like to..

Challenge #26 - BIRTHDAY - It's OURS!!!

Hi Pinkies

There's lots of excitement in the air here at the Pink Palace....  we're celebrating!!!  It's our VERY FIRST BIRTHDAY ..... yep, that's right, we've had this fabulous place to celebrate all things pink for a full year!!! And it's a double celebration....  as with my arm twisted up my back by one of the DT... I have to own up that it's a VERY BIG BIRTHDAY for me too on Friday...  and I'm feeling OLD!

And so, as we don't like to be quiet about the happenings at the PINK PALACE, we decided that our theme this time should be... wait for it...... BIRTHDAYS!

And lastly.... but most definitely not least..... the eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed above that we have a new member of the Design Team to announce...  it's the lovely Kat W....  she a passion for pink so will be very much at home here at the Pink Palace..  here's a little bit about her:

Hi, I'm Kat.  I have been making cards for around 7 years and my style of cardmaking is not quite CAS but I don't tend to use a lot of embellishments.  I mostly use stamps as my focal point, coloured with my beloved Copics, and my favourite stamps to use are Saturated Canary, LOTV and Tiddly Inks.  I love to stitch on my cards (all by hand!) and of course, I LOVE pink, so I am delighted to have a chance to show you my pink creations :-)

Right ho...... are you all excited like we are and ready to rock and roll with your pink pens and papers??  It's such an easy challenge, we'd like to see loads and loads of entries..  but don't forget our number one rule.... to use MORE PINK THAN ANY OTHER COLOUR (with the exception of white of course).... it really is such a shame when we have a fabulous entry that we can't take into account because of the lack of pink!
