Hi Pinkies...
We're back with another wonderful challenge for you pink lovers today... this time we'd like to see
STITCHING - REAL OR FAUX
on your PINK creations
So get your threads out and sew... or your pens and DRAW some stitches.. or even use stitched dies... you know what we mean... yes? So easy! But don't forget our number one rule.... that YOU USE MORE PINK THAN ANY OTHER COLOUR (except neutral shades) in your creation.
Here's what the lovely Pink Ladies came up with..
(You can get further details of each card by clicking the name above the pics)
Now.... our lovely Viv is taking a short break at the moment as she's currently in the throes of moving house......... Hope all is going well Viv... Good Luck in your new house by the sea.... and we hope that you'll be back in your pink chair here shortly.... we're missing you!!
And we have exciting news too! We have a lovely new lady joining us here at The Pink Palace becoming a fully fledged Pink Lady... she's someone whose fabulous pink creations you will have spotted just lately here as she's been one of our Guest Designers... please give a very big Pink welcome to the gorgeous Sue from Tanglemouse Cards with her take on our STITCHING theme..
isn't this just fabulous?? OK Sue, your pink chair is all ready for you... fluffy pink cushions and foot stool too! Take a seat...
AND.... more exciting news... our new Guest Designer for the next couple of challenges is a long time friend of In The Pink - welcome to
Here's a little bit about Anna...
"Such a beautiful surprise to have
been asked as a guest designer at In the Pink!
A little about myself , I am Blankina
(name in art of course). I was born in the Netherlands but
since 1996 I live in the beautiful Italy.
You could say I am a fulltime card
crafter (read addict!), besides being a mum and wife.
As a little kid I used to draw, and
honestly I cannot remember anymore when I have bought my first stamps. Now I have a large collection of
stamps mainly "cute ones " which I love to colour up with my Copics. Colouring images , matching
colours , papers , ribbons and dies to make a card is the best hobby
there is! So relaxing ...Each piece a unique
personal gift to make someone happy.
In case you are interested please
come and see more of my work on my blog to get to
know me better."
Our wonderfully generous sponsor this time is The Ribbon Girl - do click on their logo below to take a peek into their world.... they supply such fabulous trimmings and embellishments... no crafter can resist their goodies! And if you enter our challenge... you could win a £10 gift voucher to spend at their online store if your card is chosen as a Perfect Pinkie and then your name is drawn out of the hat! (Please note, the voucher is obviously exclusive of shipping costs.)
Phew.... it's been a long post this time as we had so much news.... we're going to have to go have some PINK refreshments now..... but if you'd like to pop by our Facebook page to say hello and share your makes.... we'd love to see them!
